So today we had to get up early to prepare for a whole day meeting with a client. We went through the morning routine like usual and as the coffee brewed in the background I slowly settled in front of my laptop. First stop, the inbox.

Normally I’ll filter through the newsletters and junk mail and respond to the necessary. This morning however I was greeted with over 1000 emails in my teacherseeker.co.za inbox, from Anita Intern (anitaedris16@yahoo.com).

To give you a bit of background: Teacherseeker send an automatic email to users alerting them if another user messaged them or when someone applied for a job. Just like facebook used to do in the beginning, accept we’ve done it before them :-p So I’ve set up an account to track all these auto messages.

Today it seems that Anita Intern (anitaedris16@yahoo.com) had contacted over a 1000 users on the site, asking them for cash. For each user they contacted I received my alert and about another 500 emails form legitimate users complaining about this person.

I would hereby like to inform all the teacherseeker.co.za users that we’ve removed this user from the system and please feel free to pop an email off to anitaedris16@yahoo.com and tell them to fuck off. Thanks
